Though Ireland is metric, car metres are still in miles. Thus all distances are given in miles. However, there are major Road works in progress as the N 18 (Ennis - Limerick) gets a new bypass. Therefore, please look for changes and diversions to "Sixmilebridge".

4	Shortly after, youu arrive at the N 18, left to Galway and right to Limerick. Turn right on N 18 to Limerick and leave this road after c. 1-2 miles, follow the signs to "Sixmilebridge" (R471)
8	In Sixmilebridge turn left to Tulla at the Stop sign and after 1/4 mile right to Broadford (left is signposted to Kilkishen)

27	Scarriff: You may either bypass the city centre on the main road or turn left in Scariff and drive the hill up to the city centre. There is a parking place at the market place where you will find several supermrkets and butchers, close by. Then continue on the road above the market place and turn the next right. This will lead you to the main road to Mountshannon (turn left).

At your first trip, you should follow the directions on that map. Later, you will find the short-cut from Gorteeny to Rossmore. In Gorteeny is the nearest Pub, c. 4 miles from the house.
	The next three Mileages are for future reference if you turn right directly after leaving Gorteeny (short cut). Ahortly after, there is a saw mill to the right-hand side.

From Sixmilebridge, you may also take the road to Kilkishen and continue to Tulla. On the junction with the Ennis - Scariff road, turn right to Scariff. You will re-enter the described route in Bodyke (mile 23.7). The differences in distances are only minor.
